Part of a series of 1/480 scale models of the US space program by Mike B and George B, this is my build of the Saturn V launch vehicle and launch tower. I used ribbon cable to simulate the piping on th tower. The models are available at http://www.jleslie48.com

This was my first development. A fellow modeler found a 3D computer model of this plane and asked if someone would convert it to a paper model kit. I converted the model and built some test builds, one of which is pictured here. The dotted lines that indicate where it's folded are barely visible in the final version. The model is available in my downloads section.

This is my build of the Tie Fighter from Alberto at www.geocities.com/orcberto. I rescaled this model from 1/100 to 1/72. The 'wings' are about 6 inches tall. The rescaled model is available (with the authors permission) in my downloads section.

This dragon is available from the Canon web site and comes complete with a display base. It makes a very nice display model. I built mine at half size, and it's still about a foot long. It turned out so nicely I almost wish I'd built it full size.

This Mig15 model from Kitty Hawk Software is designed to fly. You launch it with a rubber band, and it flies very well. Unfortunately Kitty Hawk Software seems to have disappeared.

These two Gee Bee models are from Fiddlers Green. Both are available as free downloads. The small one is one of several models designed to fit on a business card. Fiddlers Green has a great collection of models, all of which are relatively easy to build. I used silver thread to add the rigging for a little more realism. Even the tiny one has it. My son liked it so much he asked me to make hime one as well.

This LA-5 model is from Kancho's Paper Wings. It's one of his older models that is available as a free download. I've also made his Dragon Head model, and Skull model. I highly recommend Kancho's work.

Someone put out a challenge on the cardmodels forum at Zealot.com to build a free model, then build it in a smaller size (at least half the original size). This was my attempt. The little guy is slightly over an inch tall. You recognize this robot from Star Wars.

The cube in the photo is a 5cm square cube. The plane is a 1/100 scale Spitfire by Nobi. Nobi's models are available through ecardmodels.com. This one was a free download from Nobi's own site, which appears to be no longer active.

Another Spitfire by Nobi, this 1/48 scale model turned out to be areal beauty. I made it as a gift for my brother on his fiftieth birthday. After taking this photo I took another photo of the sky, then cut and pasted the plane into it. See the next picture. Nobi's models are available at ecardmodels.com.
